'SMILF' premieres November 5 on Showtime

Showtime's new series, "SMILF" premieres this Sunday, November 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Frankie Shaw stars and serves as creator/EP, writer and director of the comedy series. "SMILF" takes a comedic look at the life of Bridgette Bird (Shaw), a young mom from South Boston whose desires for relationships, sex and a career collide with the realities of working-class single motherhood.

Shaw brings her singular, unapologetic point of view to the semi-autobiographical comedy series. Emmy® winner Rosie O’Donnell stars as her outspoken Southie mother, along with Miguel Gomez, Samara Weaving and Alexandra and Anna Reimer.

Guest stars include Emmy and Golden Globe® nominee Connie Britton, Mark Webber and Raven Goodwin. SMILF is produced by ABC Signature Studios as a co-production with Showtime.

SMILF series premiere is available free online now on YouTube, Facebook and SHO.com, as well as across multiple television and streaming providers’ devices, websites, applications and authenticated online services and their free On Demand channels and on Showtime stand-alone service’s website www.showtime.com.
