Charlie Wilson and Keith Sweat to perform in concert February 9 at The Microsoft Theater

Charlie Wilson with special guest Keith Sweat will perform in concert on the "In It To Win It" tour on Friday, February 9th at The Microsoft Theater. The concerts begins at 7:30PM. Tickets starts at $49.50.

Wilson's album also titled "In It To Win It'. features musical guests Snoop Doog, Pitbull, Wiz Khalifa, Robin Thicke, Lalah Hathaway and TI entered the Billboard chart at # 1 on the R&B charts and #2 for Top Album sales. The first single "I'm Blessed" featuring TI was Top 10 Billboard single. This is the 7th solo album for Wilson who has hit the charts with his singles " Without You", "My Love is All I Have", "You Are" and "There Goes My Baby" and more.

Before launching a solo career Wilson was the front man for The Gap Band with brothers Robert and Ronnie. The Gap Band had a string of hits throughout the 70, 80 and 90s including. "Yearning For Love", "Outstanding", Party Train and "Burn Rubber On Me" to name a few.

Wilson has received numerous awards during his career including eleven Grammy nominations and a 2013 BET Lifetime Achievement Award which included performances by Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell, Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx and India Arie.

2018 is starting off strong for Wilson. Halle Berry presented him with the ‘Music Makes A Difference’ Award at the 49th Annual NAACP Image Awards on Martin Luther King Day. Wilson was honored with this award for his his philanthropic work with Prostate Cancer, supporting the U.S. Troops, and addiction and homelessness. Speaking about his difficult journey to musical success and philanthropy, Wilson discussed his vow to use his music to help those struggling with homelessness and addiction.
