Oscars 2018: Kristen Anderson Lopez and Robert Lopez wins Best Original Song for 'Remember Me' from 'Coco'

The 90th Oscars was held on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The show was televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscars were televised in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.

The nominees for Best Original Song included:

"Mighty River," from "Mudbound" Music and Lyric by Mary J. Blige, Raphael Saadiq and Taura Stinson

"Mystery of Love," from "Call Me by Your Name" Music and Lyric by Sufjan Stevens

"Remember Me," from "Coco" Music and Lyric by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez

"Stand Up For Something" from "Marshall" Music by Diane Warren; Lyric by Lonnie R. Lynn and Diane Warren

"This Is Me," from "The Greatest Showman" Music and Lyric by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul

The winner was Kristen Anderson- Lopez and Robert Lopez for the song "Remember Me" from the movie "Coco."

They were present and took the stage to accept their award. 

Kristen Anderson Lopez said:
"Thank you, Academy. I really want to take a minute to look at this category of incredible nominated songwriters tonight. Not only are we diverse, but we are close to 50/50 for gender representation. When you look at a category like ours, it helps us imagine a world where all the categories look like this one."
Robert Lopez added: "Thanks to Lee, Darla and everyone at Pixar for letting us be a part of this important celebration of Mexico, music, and family. Thanks to everyone who worked on and performed this song."

"Coco" is available on DVD and BluRay.
