'Beauty and the Beast': live action cast almost complete

Set for a release on March 17, 2017, the live action cast of the "Beauty and the Beast" movie is near complete with Hollywood A-listers joining the cast, including Emma Watson and Dan Stevens starring as Belle and the Beast respectively. Also cast in other roles are Luke Evans as Gaston. Emma Thompson  as Mrs. Potts, Kevin Kline as Belle's father, Maurice and Josh Gad as Le Fou.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that six-time Tony winner, Audra McDonald in final talks to join the cast of Disney remake  in the role of 'Garderobe,' the wardrobe.

'The Wiz': NBC announces the iconic musical as its next Live Event

Come on and ease on down the road with NBC as the network announced that their next live program will be "The Wiz." The live television production will take place Thursday, December 3. Previous live events for NBC were "The Sound of Music" and "Peter Pan."

The will be co-produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron and Cirque du Soleil and after it will head back to Broadway as a revival for the 2016-17 season.

The show will be directed by Tony Award-winner Kenny Leon on both television and on stage. Broadway staple Harvey Fierstein will contribute new material to the original Broadway book by William F. Brown.

"We love this yearly tradition and we're more excited than ever to not only bring another Broadway musical to America's living rooms, but also see it land on Broadway as well," said NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt. "It's a natural next step for our live musical events and we're so pleased to be in business with this award-winning creative team and Scott Zeiger, President and Managing Director of Cirque du Soleil's new theatrical division. Cirque's incredible imagination will help bring the fantasy world of Oz vividly to life and give this great show a modern spin on the age-old story we all love."
Casting for both the NBC telecast and Cirque du Soleil's Broadway production will be announced at a later date.

 The film version of the musical starred Diana Ross, Michael Jackson and Lena Horne.


'Schitt's Creek' get second season order on Pop

"Schitt's Creek," Pop's first original series has been renewed by Pop for Season 2. The comedy series stars Eugene Levy, Catherine O’Hara, Chris Elliott, Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy.  Season 2 of "Schitt's Creek" is set to air on the network with 13 new episodes in 2016.

The series centers on a formerly filthy rich video store magnate Johnny Rose (Eugene Levy), his soap star wife Moira (Catherine O’Hara), and their two kids, über-hipster son David (Daniel Levy) and socialite daughter Alexis (Annie Murphy), who suddenly find themselves broke. They are forced to live in Schitt’s Creek, a small, depressing town they once bought as a joke.

The show was created by father-son team Eugene and Daniel Levy. The show’s first season finale will air on Wednesday, May 6 at 10:00 PM, ET/PT.

Justin Bieber talks his Celebrity Roast

Justin Bieber is finally catching up to everyone else and is laughing at himself. The singer attended his celebrity roast for Comedy Central which was attended by Snoop Dogg, Ludacris and Kevin Hart among others.

During the taping the troubled teen sensation took the opportunity to show how he's matured, and vowed to move beyond his trouble-making ways.

    'Entourage Movie': HBO series heads to big screen on June 5

The film brings back the entire original cast, Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven. The story picks up where the series left off. Ari Gold (Piven) is running his own studio now and his first big bet is on Vincent Chase (Grenier). Chase wants to not only star in, but direct his own movie.

    The old gang from the HBO series is back and Billy Bob Thornton plays a rich movie investor and Haley Joel Osment is his son, tasked with keeping an eye on what Chase and company do with daddy’s money. Things do not go well there.

    “Entourage,” the much-anticipated big-screen version of the award-winning hit HBO series, reunites the show’s original cast, led by Kevin Connolly, Adrian Grenier, Kevin Dillon, Jerry Ferrara and Jeremy Piven.
    Movie star Vincent Chase (Grenier), together with his boys, Eric (Connolly), Turtle (Ferrara) and Johnny (Dillon), are back…and back in business with super agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold (Piven).  Some of their ambitions have changed, but the bond between them remains strong as they navigate the capricious and often cutthroat world of Hollywood.
    Also starring are Billy Bob Thornton and Haley Joel Osment as father and son, Larsen and Travis McCredle.  Returning cast from the series also includes Perrey Reeves as Ari Gold’s wife; Emmanuelle Chriqui as Sloan; Rhys Coiro as Billy Walsh; Debi Mazar as Vince’s publicist, Shauna; Rex Lee as Lloyd; Constance Zimmer as Dana Gordon; and Nora Dunn as Dr. Marcus.  Emily Ratajkowski appears as herself.  Rounding out the cast are Alan Dale, who appeared in the series, rapper Scott Mescudi, and Rhonda Rousey.
    “Entourage” creator Doug Ellin is directing the feature film from his own screenplay, story by Ellin and Rob Weiss, based on characters created by Ellin.  Mark Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson and Ellin are producing, with Wayne Carmona serving as executive producer.
    The behind-the-scenes creative team reunites several key members who worked on the original series, including director of photography Steven Fierberg, editor Jeff Groth, production designer Chase Harlan, and costume designer Olivia Miles.
    Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Home Box Office, Inc., a Closest to the Hole Production, a Leverage Entertainment Production, a Doug Ellin Film, “Entourage.”  The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.  The film is set to open in theaters on June 5, 2015.
