9-1-1 Lonestar Starring Rob Lowe Sneak Peek Trailer

Fox's hit drama "9-1-1" is getting a spin-off. the network has ordered a first responder's drama based in Texas called "9-1-1: Lonestar" starring Rob owe and Liv Tyler.

Nearly 20 years ago, OWEN STRAND (Lowe) was the lone survivor of his Manhattan firehouse on 9/11. In the wake of the attack, Owen had the unenviable task of rebuilding his station. After a similar tragedy happens to a firehouse in Austin, Owen, along with his troubled firefighter son, T.K., takes his progressive philosophies of life and firefighting down to Texas, where he helps them start anew. On the surface, Owen is all about big-city style and swagger, but underneath he struggles with a secret he hides from the world – one that could very well end his life.

Once in Austin, Owen meets the brilliant and wry chief paramedic MICHELLE WATTS (Liv Tyler), as well as police officer CARLOS REYES (Rafael Silva). He then begins to assemble his new team of diverse and qualified candidates for Firehouse 126, including MARJAN MARWANI (Natacha Karam), an adrenalin junkie and badass firefighter who also is a devout Muslim; PAUL STRICKLAND, a transgender male firefighter, who bravely decided to transition on the job in Chicago and has a gift for observation worthy of Sherlock Holmes; and rookie firefighter MATEO CHAVEZ.

Owen’s toughest challenge may be JUDD RYDER, who, like Owen, was the sole survivor of the original 126 house after a rescue call ended in tragedy. A gruff cowboy to his core, Judd is married to GRACE, a 9-1-1 call center operator, and struggles with PTSD, unsure if he ever can be the firefighter he once was.

"9-1-1: Lonestar" premieres Sunday, January 19 after the NFC Championship Game on Fox.

Two-time GRAMMY winner Tori Kelly will kick off 2020 with a tour in support of her new album, Inspired By True Events. The North American leg, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on January 28 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH. Audrey MiKa will open on all dates.

A ticket presale for members of Tori’s fan club will begin on Tuesday, October 22, at 10:00 AM local time. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 25, at 10:00 AM local time at LiveNation.com. See below for itinerary – including her U.K./European dates – or visit www.torikellymusic.com.

Citi is the official presale credit card of the Inspired By True Events Tour. As such, Citi cardmembers will have access to purchase U.S. presale tickets beginning Tuesday, October 22, at 10:00 AM local time through Citi EntertainmentSM. For complete presale details visit www.citientertainment.com.

CID Entertainment is on board to offer two tiers of enhanced concert experience packages throughout the tour, both of which include a ticket to the show plus access to soundcheck, limited edition merchandise and either a personal or group photo with Tori. For  further details, visit www.cidentertainment.com/events/tori-kelly-tour/.

Tori will be bringing her full band for the outing, which follows her sold-out 2019 Acoustic Sessions tour. Produced by Jimmy Napes (Sam Smith, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige), Inspired By True Events (Capitol/School Boy Records) marks a striking departure from the bright and breezy pop of Tori’s 2015 debut album, Unbreakable Smile. Like her 2018 passion project Hiding Place – winner of the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album, with hit single “Never Alone” named Best Gospel Performance/Song – Inspired By True Events keeps centered on her warm yet powerful vocal presence and extraordinary range. But this time around, Tori brings even greater depth to her songwriting, examining events that recently shook her world – including her parents’ sudden separation, a tumultuous engagement that met with much disapproval and the death of her grandfather.

Tori says, “Playing these songs live is a reminder that everyone goes through these sorts of things, and we all need to know that we’re not alone. If I were to put out an album that didn’t talk about these personal stories, I would just be faking it and hiding from the truth. It turns out that the uncomfortable place was the most honest and true. It was right where I needed to be, and from there I could tell my story.”

Team Legend

Hometown: Woodland Hills, CA

Resident: Santa Barbara, CA

Will learned to sing when he was just 3 years old. He was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism, and his parents believed music would be helpful in his development. No matter what he was going through, he could always turn to music for comfort. Will went on to attend college in Santa Barbara and stayed in town after graduation to pursue music. Will is currently a one-man-band soul musician and looper, who creates various beats and loops them together to sound like multiple musicians.

At 6 years old, Ricky’s father taught him guitar and they played in a band together throughout Ricky’s high school years. Ricky went on to attend Berklee College of Music and form his own band while his father acted as their manager. Shortly after graduation, Ricky’s father tragically took his own life, but encouraged him to keep doing what he loved. Earlier this year, Ricky lost his mother to breast cancer. Ricky has dedicated his life to music to carry on his father’s legacy and comes to “The Voice” to make his parents proud.

Marina and her family moved to New York from Uzbekistan in search of a better life when she was 11. Adjusting to the new culture was difficult, but listening to American music helped her learn the language and begin to make friends. Marina became very involved in school plays and concerts, and she decided to pursue music after graduation. In 2007, she landed a deal with P. Diddy’s Bad Boy Records and her single “Sideline” was a big hit. She later got married and took a break from music to focus on being a mom. Marina currently manages a catering hall and is here at “The Voice” to give music another shot.

While living there he began singing and playing guitar while also becoming fluent in Spanish. At 20, he moved to Tennessee where he began gigging and attended Tennessee Tech University as a walk-on football player. Jake later got married and now has a 4-year-old daughter. After getting divorced, Jake is a newly single dad and hopes to start anew by making his daughter proud on “The Voice.”

Gracee found her love for country music when she started writing her own songs as a first-grader. At 9 years old, she started taking singing and guitar lessons and soon had a standing gig on Friday nights at Trails End BBQ where she still performs today. On top of that, she also travels to Nashville for various gigs and open mics and performs with her worship team on Sundays. Outside of music, Gracee is a National Honor Society high school senior and a member of the varsity tennis team. For fun, she enjoys spending time at the lake with her friends and family.

Damali, 16

Team Kelly

Hometown: Norwalk, CA
Resident: Norwalk, CA

Damali grew up singing around the house and began writing songs at 7 years old. In third grade she held her own concert in the schoolyard and charged 25 cents per ticket. She continued to pursue music, but it became increasingly harder when her parents enrolled her in a military and law enforcement high school. Although she loves the structure and discipline of school, Damali doesn’t plan to join the military. She is currently a high school senior and has a steady gig singing at a lounge in Los Angeles.

Royce, named after the Rolls-Royce luxury car, was raised in a Christian household and began singing in church where his mother led worship. He taught himself guitar, started writing music and got his first gig at a local pizza shop in the 11th grade. After high school, Royce got married and had two kids, all while chasing his dream to play music. While he’s had some success, he’s also had some ups and downs supporting his family financially. Royce comes to “The Voice” to show his kids that success isn’t measured by money, but by living out your dream.

Kiara Brown, 21 (Stolen by Team Kelly)

Team Gwen

Hometown: Las Vegas, NV

Resident: Las Vegas, NV

Kiara began singing before she could talk and started performing at 11 through the Collabo Youth Theater. From a young age, she was inspired to use music to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Two years ago, Kiara was asked by the White House to sing the National Anthem at an event to raise awareness about campus violence. That same year, after the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, she wrote a folk song called “58 Stars” for the 58 people who lost their lives that day. She was asked to perform the song at the memorial and later at a tribute benefit. Kiara comes to “The Voice” hoping to continue to touch people with her music.

Song: “Turn Your Lights Down Low,” by Bob Marley & The Wailers

Joana Martinez, 15

Hometown: Miami, FL

Resident: Miami, FL

Joana gets her talent from her father, who plays the drums and trumpet but was unable to pursue a musical career. As a shy kid, she used to make her family and friends turn around when she would sing, but performing helped her blossom. In middle school, she was nominated as “Most Likely to Win ‘The Voice’” and at 13 sang the national anthem at a Miami Heat game and later performed at a Miami Marlins game. As a second generation Cuban-American, she enjoys singing in both Spanish and English. Joana is currently a sophomore in high school at the Miami Arts Studio magnet school where she also participates in musical theater.

Growing up wasn’t easy for Kyndal. Her father was mostly absent and when her mom remarried, she was the only one in her family with a different last name. She felt she didn’t fit in and was often lonely, but music brought her joy. She got a guitar for Christmas and wrote her first song at 8 years old. By 13, she was gigging and posting videos of her singing. At 19, she moved to Nashville and finally felt at home. Kyndal is currently a nanny for four kids during the day and continues to perform her original music by night.

What's on TV: Catch 21 with Alfonso Ribeiro and Witney Carlson on GSN

Witney Carson and Alfonso Ribeiro star in Catch 21 on GSN
Game Show Network, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, has announced Alfonso Ribeiro (“Americas Funniest Videos”) has returned as host of its "CATCH 21" reboot. Witney Carson (“Dancing with the Stars”) joins as card dealer, reuniting the former dance partners in a game show first. The series airs weeknights at 6:00 pm on GSN.

In Catch 21," dealing out larger-than-life playing cards, the host quizzes contestants with general-knowledge questions as they attempt to build the closest hand to 21. Part knowledge, part nerve, and part strategy, every correct answer is a chance to add a card and build a better hand or pass the card and “bust” the competition. In addition, every correct answer gives a player control of the deck and the option of “freezing” their hand to protect themselves from being “busted” later in the round. Putting a familiar twist on a classic game, players match wits and put victory on the line in every round with the turn of a card and the next correct answer.

Check a sneak peek episode below.

Alfonso Ribeiro has spent more than 30 years leaving his unique mark on the worlds of television, theater and beyond. Ribeiro hosted the original run of “Catch 21” on the Game Show Network for four seasons from 2008-2011. Additionally, Ribeiro is currently the host of “Americas Funniest Videos,” just prior to that he danced his way into our hearts on “Dancing with Stars.” His acting skills have been in homes for decades with the long-running sitcoms “Silver Spoons” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

Professional dancer and Emmy-nominated choreographer Witney Carson is best known for the hit reality competition show “Dancing with the Stars” and winning season 19 with partner Alfonso Ribeiro. She is also an accomplished professional Latin Ballroom dancer and first gained attention when she finished as ladies’ second runner-up in season nine of “So You Think You Can Dance.”

The wow factor is raised in season two as the country's most imaginative Makers from Miami to Portland take fans on a journey through everything from office makeovers to three-dimensional holiday creations. Working with mediums from food to felt, and no shortage of electricity, this season's Makers vie to impress returning judges Dayna Isom Johnson, Etsy trend expert and Simon Doonan, Creative Ambassador for Barneys New York.

On digital platforms, the show's July 31 premiere was NBC's strongest launch of an alternative series on record.

Each episode will revolve around a central theme with the Makers completing two crafts based on current trends in DIY and anchored in America's love for all things handmade. The first, a "faster-craft," gives the Makers a limited time to execute their personal take on each theme. Next is the more in-depth "master craft," challenging each Maker to display their respective expertise while combining originality, imagination and quality finishing to move on to the next round of the competition. In the end, the winning contestant will be crowned "Master Maker."
